The problem
Researching prospects and writing genuinely personalised cold emails took hours every week. Off-the-shelf outreach tools blast templates that read like templates. Anything that did real research per prospect needed an analyst sitting in front of a browser for half an hour per email.
We wanted to prove that an AI agent could do that research at human quality, draft a first-touch email that referenced the prospect's actual business, and route the response back to a human for review, at a price per email that made the unit economics work.
What we built
- Every prospect is researched before a word is written
- Firecrawl reads their real site, and the business model, pain points and recent activity come back structured rather than as a page of text.
- A draft per prospect, not a template
- Gemini writes from that research. A suggestion banner learns from the drafts we accept and reject, so the next batch lands closer to our voice.
- Swipe to triage on a phone
- Reviewing drafts is the bottleneck, and it is the part that gets done in the gaps in a day rather than at a desk.
- Replies come back into the pipeline
- A Zoho Mail integration surfaces the thread with its context, so the pipeline stays the one place worth looking.
